The causes of cracks on the steel wheel are as follows:
1. The welding materials of roller accessories are unqualified. Because the welding rod is unqualified, the weld strength is insufficient during use, and it is easy to vibrate and crack. After the crack is generated, the vibration cylinder cavity will be torn due to the stress concentration.
2. The welding process is unqualified when leaving the factory. The original machine has welding quality defects in the welding process, such as slag separation, broken welding, undercut, incomplete welding, etc., which is easy to form stress concentration and fracture.
3. The design of steel wheel is unreasonable. The materials and dimensions used in the design of the original steel wheel are unqualified. The material strength of the steel wheel is different from that of the side plate vibrating cavity. Due to the change of construction environment, the tensile strength formed by the vibrating steel wheel and the side plate of the vibrating cavity is different, resulting in cracking.
4. Fatigue damage caused by improper maintenance and operation. In the process of use, the air holes of the steel wheel are blocked, so that the gas in the vibration chamber is easy to form high-pressure exciting waves, which impact the steel wheel cavity and produce cracks at the stress concentration points in the steel wheel cavity, which happen to be at these welds.
